Cheyenne, Wyoming’s capitol city was named for the Cheyenne Indian tribes that once inhabited the land. At the Old West Museum the story of the past is told with art exhibits. The kids will love the interactive children’s gallery and the museum store where dressing up like a cowboy will take on a whole new meaning.

The Cheyenne people believed that everything had life, the earth in which they grew their food, the trees that gave them shade and the animals that they so freely shared their world with.
